The last time we were in San Francisco, we had a great sunset, and the next day we did one of our favorite walks – through Chinatown, along the Embarcadero, Fisherman’s Warf, up to Lombard Street and back through Little Italy. Here are some of our favorite photos.
One of our favorite sunset locations is near Pier 14. The sun is setting behind you and with some good cloud cover, you can make a few good photographs of the Ferry Building and the Bay Bridge.
The next day we walked through Chinatown.
Then we went east on Broadway to the Embarcadero and Fisherman’s Warf.
We climbed up Hyde to Lombard Street (very steep climb).
And then down Lombard, and back up Columbus Street toward the Financial District.
We usually take 4-6 hours to make this loop (including lunch someplace).
These are just a few of the great subjects in the City. We have a dozen blog posts about our many trips to San Francisco. Use the search box on the main page.
