After arriving in Rockport from Bar Harbor, Mark and I decided for sunset to photograph the Curtis Island Lighthouse just off the coastline between Camden and Rockport. While on the way to the lighthouse, the setting sunlight looked so good on the boats and trees at the Rockport Marina, we just had to stop.

After a few exciting minutes of work, we were off again to the lighthouse and were able to catch the last good light.

It was so good, we decided to do it all again in the morning for sunrise, this time accompanied by Mary. We started at the lighthouse and had about ten other people watch sunrise with us. Then it was back to the harbor. It was quite cold, for us Arizonians at a brisk 39 degrees, but our Alaskan found it quite comfortable.
