Update: It’s official, I completed my Project 52 on 4/17/2013, one year and two weeks after I started. It has been an amazing journey of discovery, challenge, and growth. I am now drawn to projects, and have collected over 100 that I still want to try. I will continue to explore new creative assignments and techniques….stayed tuned.
Initial Post: I have to admit, after finishing my Project 365 (one iphone photo a day for a year), I’ve been a bit lost. I was thinking back to some of my favorite images from 2011, and many of them were for projects I had done for on-line classes, or that I had given to myself. I found that I really broke some creative blocks with these “weird” projects, and decided I needed to do more. Besides a little piece of me cries every time I put my camera away – there just aren’t enough official outings I can plan giving everything else that is going on.
So here we go, one project a week for 52 weeks. I have a list of 70 to choose from; gathered from different books I have read over the years. And I have given myself until May of 2013 to finish in anticipation of some weeks where I just won’t be able to do a project. I will start a project each Wednesday, create a post with my results (and trials and tribulations), and then post my favorite photo from the project here.
