Quick stop at Turnagain Arm near Anchorage, Alaska

We made our way south from Anchorage to Seward a couple of times along the Seward Highway.  We stopped at several spots along the Turnagain Arm which is at the northern end of the Cook Inlet.  Here is what you might see.1808_PSA_Alaska IR_1441

Turnagain Arm is famous for its tides and its mudflats.  The highway has several turn outs with sweeping views.  It was cold, raining, and overcast, so we mostly used our infrared cameras and converted the images to monochrome.  Here are a few of our favoirtes.
