A couple of weeks ago, Mary and I finally got into the Broad Museum to see the Cindy Sherman special exhibit and the other famous art there. Here is what we saw.

The Broad is the new contemporary art museum founded by Eli and Edythe Broad in downtown Los Angeles next to Disney Hall. The museum is home to the 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection which is one of the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide. Though there is no entrance fee, you do need tickets or a reservation to get in. There are walk-ins, but you never know about the wait. Get your advance tickets here.

The very quotable photographer, Jay Maisel says, “To make more interesting photos, you need to be a more interesting person.” When you see Cindy Sherman’s photos, one must think, she is very interesting. We love to see the work of other photographers to be inspired to make ours even better.
