A friend of mine took me to her local gardens for a couple of hours. I often wonder, if the magic of flower photography will start to wear off, and I’ll get bored with taking close-ups of a single beautiful flower. Then I go to the gardens and find an entirely new angle, like the patterns on the underside of a leaf.
Whenever I stopped my friend asked me more than a few times “what are you taking a picture of?” as I stoop over a leaf instead of a colorful flower bloom. There is something about color and abstract shapes that get me every time. These images were processed using Alien Skin’s Snap Art 4. I used the Oil Paint presents to keep the look consistent among them.

Pretty cool, I like it! No surprise…
